Newline selected to deploy G.fast ultrafast broadband technology

5.7 million UK homes and businesses are set to benefit from Openreach’s 330Mbps-capable G.fast “ultrafast broadband” ISP technology. Newline’s engineers are installing the hybrid fibre networks across multiple locations within the UK. The G.fast network involves running a fibre optic cable to local PCP street cabinets and installing extension pods in each cabinet to house line cards.
